RBA review panel report to be released ‘in the next couple of weeks’ with 51 recommendations: Treasurer

In a press conference and a separate interview with Bloomberg on Monday, Treasurer Chalmers indicated that the RBA review report will be released in the next week or two. According to Chalmers, there are 51 specific recommendations in the review panel’s report, to which the government will provide an initial response. Chalmers also indicated that he is looking to secure opposition and crossbench support for recommended legislative changes to the RBA Act.
